Question Brake screech

I have a screech in the left front wheel. Removed tire and inspected, brake shoes & brake indicator shows no wear. However, I was unable to remove brake caliber. '03 heavy duty 2500 diesel has 90,000 (all highway) miles. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Dust? Hose them down or wipe down with brake cleaner.

Check your wheel bearings. Sand the surface of the pads to deglaze them.

Lightbulb Screech

Also while the wheels are off, be sure the pads are tight in the calipers and there is no front to rear movement. Tighten down the ears on the pad if they are. Alot of people just put on the pads and never tighten them.
BTW why couldn't you remove the caliper?
Jim.
