Block Heater Please

I am at the end of my ropes here trying to find a block heater for my truck. It's a 98 2500. It has the 12V engine. I am trying to find a block heater for it since it is about 2 degrees here at night. Can someone please help me. I would like to get one that goes into the freezeout plug if possible, but at this point anything would help. I had no oil pressure yesterday for like 45 seconds. I don't like that. i don't know much about diesels since this is my first one. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Re:Block Heater Please

All of the Cummins in the Dodge should have a block heater already. Look on the right side, just behind the bumper. Many come out of the hole beside the driving light. If it isn't there lift the hood and look between the radiator and the bumper on the right side. It really should be there. Sometimes when the former owner doesn't use it they stick it way up in there someplace so it can't be seen.

Chris

It will be there unless somebody has removed it. As Chris has said, All Cummins diesels come from the factory with the block heater. On my 99, I had to lift the hood and it was coming out beside the passenger side headlight, hanging down behind the bumper with a cap over the prongs of the plug.
Let us know what you find out.
