Block Heater Help

Well I have my motor back together and I can't figure out how the block heater goes back in. I think I am missing a piece. I have the heater the bolt but there is nothing to screw the bolt into. Anyone out there know how to fix this? It is A 96 12 Valve.

There should be a crossbar that the screw goes into. I have never reused a block heater before, and you would probably be better off with a new one, as the threads on the tip of the screw are usually distorted at the factory, so the screw can't come completely out of the crossbar. The crossbar threads are probably damaged now and won't hold the torque. Maybe the crossbar was left in the block when the heater was removed.
