Binding in Steering???

Just installed new steering gear, linkage, and ball joints. Went to do the 20 stop-to-stop (engine off, wheels in the air) with the steering wheel as indicated for re-filling power system fluid and noticed that it easily goes to stop when turning right but stops within 1/2in before the stop turning left.

So is there something binding in new linkage maybe? I checked after putting ball joints in and both knuckle pivot stop to stop easy. Or is there a "center of range" on the new steering gear i missed? I thought the recirc ball type it didn't matter and the sterring shaft coupler and pit man arm splines lined up perfect when i put the gear in so i just assembled it like that.

Thanks !!

The steering gearbox may be too tight. There's a allen screw on top of the gearbox & you need to try loosening it up. Loosen the hex nut & then open up the allen screw a little.
