How do you get the belt off of a 2001 24 valve?I know the tensioner but how do you take the pressure off of it without messing it up . I am trying to change the waterpump and it looks easier to do that than get the belt off.

 

on mine you use a 1/2" drive breaker bar. there is a spot for it in the cast of the tensioner.

 

It's only 3/8" square, but get a cheater bar. It a tough little bugger without a little help.
