Arrow...

Replaced tranny with rebuilt one. Runs fine. Also replaced Alternator as it had a bad diode. Also replaced TPS. The tranny has a triple disc converter, new overdrive button and a torque lock. The arrow portion of my thread is a light that comes on when the truck has the overdrive off only. The arrow is located close to the the start engine light cluster. I have never seen this before. I have noticed that the tranny regardless of wether or not the overdrive is on or not does not let the torque converter stay locked. Could this be an issue with ECM, speed sensor, crank sensor, Or just a crappy ground? Thanks

I'd triple check all gounds starting w/the batts making sure they are clean and tight. Then I'd wrap the (I think brown/orange wire) coming from the altenator w/foil and elec tape. Two easy things you can do first to eliminate it from the problem.
