Answer me this!!

I'm fixing to replace the L/P on my truck and need to know if I need any seals or washers before I pull the fuel lines off cause I don't know since this is the first one replaced on the truck. What are the basic procedures for replacing. Any help is greatly

See this link for How-To instructions:
Remove & Replace Lift Pump

Not hard to do, should take less than an hour.

When I replaced mine, I replaced the 4 sealing washers to avoid a possible problem down the road.

isn't it still under warranty,it's covered under the cummins part of the warranty,5 year,100,000 mile, i believe. That's what i was told when i had my 98.5. Mark.
