I can't figure it out but just ordered a hydroboost for 179.99 and I don't want to spend the money if you guys know why the ABS and Brake light won't go off. Little Background changed rear wheel cylinders to larger ones and they caused it I guess. But I have changed calipers, brakes, master cylinder, proportioning valve, and real wheel sensor!!!! Dealer doesn't know and I defintely don't, DOES ANYBODY HAVE A SOLUTION?????

 

I'll try this one more time....where did you get the code, or who did you have scan the abs system to come up with a code "78 brake base incident".

 

5 Star Dealer: Goodson Dodge in Spring,TX. I told them that I changed my real wheel cylinders to 30mm and the lights came on afterwards, like a week later. After they scanned the computer they told me that the computer gave this code not meaning that a sensor is bad. The service tech told me that would need to check all the grounds and wires leading to sensors and just about everyting electrical. I told him that I would do it myself and check it out. He told me to buy a manual and go over the entire electrical system to find the problem!!!I was like okay. The first time I had my friend scan it with a Snap on computer and it said Code 78-Partial Brake Failure. Now that I changed the proportioning valve it reads Code 78-Brake Base Incident. I was just about to change the Hydrobooster, I am glad you came along. Do you have an answer now maybe?
