Access to heater/ac switch?

Well after a perfect (?) installation of x-monitor and brakesmart the last couple of weeks I happen to turn on the heater/ac to test the ac since I had a small leak last year and found I now only have air coming from only the defrost vents.....with the switch in any position other than off.

So I suspect the vacuum lines might have come off the back of the switch (or electrical lines). Assume it just switches the vacuum to different areas. I know I at least have vacuum to the switch since defrost works. I know it must be related to the under dash mounting and re-zip tieing the wires to the brakesmart or x-monitor.

Question: How do I get to that switch?....Hopefully from the passenger side....Are there screws or do I have to pry off the dash board parts up around that switch?

Help appreciated before I start digging blindly today.

Jay

No, it's under the hood on the side of the engine with the power steering pump. Most likely you accidently unhooked a vacuum line while feeding wires though the firewall.

Solved...

Thanks the help. Two hours to trace (my time) no labor charge. Vacuum line (hidden) across and behind the wiring on the firewall area had popped off. Actually, I think the guy who installed my X-monitor pulled it off by mistake. Anyway it's fixed without ripping the dash out! Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
