Can't control my idle now what's up
Ok the newbie needs some more help here. I went ahead and put the 3 gsk in today with my #11 plate. Well the idle was a little low so a adjusted it up a little and now when I give it just a little pedal the thing goes crazy up to 2k on the tach and holds it there??? did I #$%@ up? It will idle ok still a little low around 650 wondering if I should put more tension or less on the gsk or??? I put the plate back in the same place just can't figure out why the throttle is sticking not realy sticking it's possessed!
It's tricky, but you'll get lots of help here. Were there no instructions with your 3000GSK? Back off each stud nut one click and try it again, but readjust your idle. If no joy, try another click. Also be sure the nuts are each the same offset from the top of the stud. The nuts might seem to be on the verge of loose, or "no click." It happens. Probably should not go completely loose. If that doesn't work post again with inventory of exactly what you took out of your IP so we can see if you have the correct parts in your hand.

well I backed things off a little too much....one side of the gsk is now a mangled mess inside the housing. It only ran for about 2 sec. before I shut it down. I don't how involved this is, may be taking it to a friend who runs a diesel performance shop. I took some pics look in the broken album
