Question ABS and Parking Brake Indicators ON

Driving truck on Saturday, cruising down highway at about 75mph, crossed a bridge with a lip on the front of it, I heard the back tires chirp. ABS/Parking indicators came on instantly with a bell chime.

Pulled over cycle key 3 times to reset. Light has been coming on everyday now, it will clear itself after driving about 30 miles but will come back on later.

Not sure what to do and don't like to drive truck with these indicators on.

Any thoughts? I have 1500 miles left on the warranty. Truck is stock suspension, tires and wheels. Has intake and Q-zilla chip on it.

I have the same problem. I replaced both front hubs with new ABS sensors about 2 months ago. And I reciently replaced the VSS in the rear differential and still I have the ABS and brake light on most of the time.

Im not sure what else it could be.... But I know its not a problem driving without ABS for me (I dont like it anyways).

Don't just go and replace parts, guys. You will be money ahead paying someone to scan the ABS module to see what the exact codes are. Call a local shop and ask if they are capable of reading the ABS codes, and ask a price. Also ask if they can't read the codes if they will still charge you. There is someone on here ( I can't remember who) that will argue with me day and night that it HAS to go to a dealer, but I can say.....for a FACT, beyond ANY shadow of a doubt, that a Snap On Scanner, Matco Determinator, and many others are completely capable of retrieving the codes from the ABS module ( with a trained operator of course! ) Get the code/codes and report back. I will help as much as possible.

Thanks for the input guys. I am taking it in first thing in the morning. Had to take a couple of things off of it first but figured it was worth it to get this covered under warranty.

I did however find out that one of my buddies has a high end SnapOn machine at his work and is trained to operate it. SO I will be going to him from now on since I am almost out of warranty.

My guess is wheel speed sensor. Many are sensitive magnets (not positive on the Ram) that a little dirt can throw off. My BMW does this like every 30K miles. I pull the wheel assembly and clean it up...And the light goes away.
