95 sputtering to start after re-prime

I have new: starter contacts and solenoid, lift pump, sediment filter/fuel heater, fuel filter/water release valve and new fuel lines front to back.

I had to pump on the primer for about 10 minutes intermittently between starting attempts to get enough fuel for it to start. It finally sputtered and coughed with my fuel on the throttle for about 1 minute till it came to an idle, then it idled fine for about 3 minutes. I then shut it off for 10 minutes to try again. It started on it's own, but still sputtered and coughed for a few seconds till it came to and idle. I let it run for about 5 minutes again.

Am I still losing prime or is there still remnant air in the lines or a possible an injector pump or some other issue here?

Now I'm going to let it sit for about 1/2 hour before trying again.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Make sure you have no vacaum leaks into fuel lines. Sounds as though still some air to get expelled. My VP44 acted up after two hours running, and has been fine since. Go figure.

Hey Paidoffpit, I would check all the connections again, not crazy tight, then see if the fuel pressure is stable to make sure it's not suckin air.
