ok guys i got a truck awhile back that was wrecked so i got it all fixed and the getrag blows up so i take it to a shop and they pull it bla bla bla long story short i decided i was better off with the 4500 so i bring the truck back to me at the shop and have got it all done works great except the 205 shifter has to be mounted still ?? anyway the problem i have is i can not find the two wire plug for the electric speedo it is no where in site that i can dig around for i ahve done alot of trans replacement and it is allways just right there hanging in my way any idead as to what is up where does it come from i have never paid much attention just unpluged and pluged them in i dont see any broken or cut ends to wires anywhere close to the trans in the big harness that runs down the frame i asume that is where the speedo comes from any one know what color the wires are so maybe i can find them ?

The connector will be back by the rear of the NP205 transfer case. Look on top of the case and behind the rear crossmember. Sometimes they get jambed up and stuck on top during the installation process.

 

no such luck looked all around i have the t-case sender and the back up light senders but i just can not find the speedo does it come down from the center "ish" of the fire wall with the back up lights and the t-case harness or across from the drivers side frame rail ??
