Debate still open on that.
There is an TSB regarding "aftermarket" air filters.
They don't mention the BHAF, it leans more towards oiled filters.

I have had mine into the Dealer for 2 oil changes since I got mine, and they didn't say anything about it,
yet.

I don't think it is your air filter. If it was you should be seeing lots of smoke. I was wondering, have you been following the thread over in the 24v forums about the same thing? Have you checked the fuel pressure? I also wonder about the possibility of an electrical issue. These trucks should get a lot better mileage than what you are getting. I still wonder about the no the no codes. Seems like it should have thrown a code somewhere. What kind of mileage do you calculate by hand? Does it agree with the display?

put the fuel filter in and cycled the pump 4 times it sounded like it was spinning fast and no start did it about 10 more times and about had a heart attack when it wouldnt start ran it again and opened the water drain and fuel was going through did this a few times then the pump sounded like it was struggling but it started running thank god. Is this a bad lift pump or did I do it wrong ill let you know if the mpg gets better

Sounds to me like you really need to check your lift pump pressure.
