3" lift, diesel leak now tranny shifting weird..

Well as most of you know I had my lift done, and got the truck back Last Friday. Starting this week I have found that I need a new U-Joint. I see today that I have a nice leak on one of my fuel lines that runs along the frame right about where the transfer case skid plate is. Now As I am limping my truck home spewing fuel My tranny Around 50 mph cant make up its mind which gear it wants to go into top or overdrive. It keeps kicking back and forth between the 2. I dont think it was the Torque converter locking and unlocking. Im not sure. Could any of this have been caused by fuel spray? Or is this the opening to a tranny going bad? I have been up for well over 24 hours straight. I worked 12-8am today and then rushed to the hospital where my girl had an emergency appendicitus. I have been there all day and now my brain is having horrible thoughts of just saying F-it and getting a D-max... For the record truck and tranny have 43,000 miles on them. No pulling, occasional horseing but not too rough.

I did check my tranny fluid. It is nice and pink, full, and didnt have any foul burning odor to it.

You could do the TPPS reset. There is a sequence of turning the key and pressing the accelerator pedal. Do a search on it, and try that. I have heard of that curing the same symptoms you are seeing.

Check your engine codes you might have a Speed Sensor out. You can turn your key on and off 3 times leaving it on on the third and it should spit out some codes, I think a 0500 is speed sensor but don't know for sure.

The OD hunting could be caused by a fuel soaked connector to the transmission temperature sensor telling the PCM that the fluid is too hot or cold.
