24V Bolt size and Thread Pitch for puller in pump gear

Bolt size and Thread Pitch for puller in pump gear? I think i have one that works...but seems to be pinching threads.....just want to make sure...thanks!

The two bolts needed are M8 X 1.24 mm. The taper is keyed, so watch for the key, you do not want to drop in down the timing cover.

Yeah, make sure the key is on the top side. I made the mistake of lining up the timing marks, and dropped the key down into the timing case.
I did use it as a learning experience though, and pulled the cover, took pics of the KDP, etc.
I had to modify a couple of 5/16-18 bolts when I did mine because I did not have metrics handy. Just ran a metric die down the bolts and they ain't pretty but they work.

Thanks for the info! Got the right bolts and pump in and out. Fixed the prob as well....well now that i think of it...i did reinstall a VP.....hum...did i really fix the prob?????
