2003 dodge rear end

I am new to diesel trucks and this is my first. So far I am very happy with it. I noticed while reading through the forums that some people have been finding very low fluid levels in their front and rear end. So I went out to check and wouldnt you know I could not even touch the fluid in the rear. The front is good. So the truck is going in to the shop tommorow, I have 150 miles on the truck and am wondering if there is anything I should have them check in the rear end for damage. Any help would be great.

Assume nothing. Make sure that the technician uses synthetic 75W-90. If it takes less than a quart and a half and you haven't been towing anything you probably don't have much to worry about with only 150 miles. Make sure the squealer documents the problem in case you have trouble down the road.
