2003 4wd ujoint front axle removal

Help

How do I remove hub and ujoints in a 2003 4wd. I have the rotor/brakes off. Have removed the back four bolts and the antilock sensor and the axle/wheel bearing nut. Is there something I am missing. I do not have my book available.
I put a wheel puller on it to no avail. I don't want to break something.

It was squeaking in the tire area. Sounds like it is coming from the ujoint area after I got brakes off. Wheels shimmy back and forth when I turn hub around like tire is turning(everything off). Bad Ujoint? Looks good-can't tell for sure. How much up and down play should front axle going to diff have?

I only work on them on the side.

Help!

Put the four bolts back on. Once they are seated (not tight) back them off about 1/8" inch or so. Smack them with a hammer, one right after the other till there is no longer 1/8" gap, then back off on the bolts again till there is 1/8" gap again, then repeat the smacking. This way, you can muscle it off a bit at a time.

If you continue to use the puller, you will probably bust the wheel.
