From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
The clutch that concerns you is the rear clutch. Yes it is adjustable. Only problem is you have to remove tranny, disassamble and overhaul to accomplish. Suspect you will find nasty looking clutches and steels when you get there. Generally when rear clutch fails you lose forward gears, since it is applied in all forward gears. Good Luck

You have two adjustable bands that control the planetary gear sets lock-up. If the bands get too loose the servo's that tighten them consume so much volume of oil that the level drops too low for the pump to generate adequate volume and pressure, and the line pressure drops enough that the clutches will slip.

Most times adjusting the bands will solve the problem.

The real problem is the Rhino 660 you are packing around, swap that for a good JD Gator 860 D, and that will help too!

i havent had a chance to put the rhino in this truck yet i just got the truck 3 weeks ago. allreadr tore it up racin some street bikes, they lost cauz they couldent see for some reason so you think adjusting the rear band may help out? it wont slip if i use about half throttle or so with the truck on stock, do i need to remove the valve body to get to the rear band? and lastly weres a good place to buy a rebuild kit for these?

Here is some info.
First gear is the rear clutch and the sprag.
Reverse is the front clutch and the rear band.
If it has slipped in both reverse and forward/first, most likely it needs a complete rebuild.
The rear band is also applied in MANUAL low/first, but should not effect any slipping.
Since you changed the fluid/filter recently, I doubt if you can save this trans!!!
What did the fluid filter look like?
The front band is used only for 2nd gear.
Good luck.
