my dodge p.u. oil temp light comes on when towing. everything works good except light comes on. any body had this problem. is it killing my tranny.<br><br>trav

 

Not to be obvious, but have you checked your fluid level? Your intercooler to make sure that it is bug-free? Also, does the temperature of the engine increase as well? If the engine is running hot the tranny fluid will also be hotter because of the oilcooler.<br><br>Finally, does the tranny jump out of OD when the light comes on?<br>Just some fast thoughts.
