06 wont start sometimes?????
i have a 06 5.9L that wont start sometimes. it will start perfectly most the time but usually in a drive thru when i turn it off to order, it wont start again! i push in the clutch turn the key and nothing happens. all the pumps, ignitors, accessories turn on but the motor dosnt ever turn over. when i push the clutch in a hear the saftey relay click and when i turn the key i hear a click coming from some where under the hood but cant pinpoint it. i can bump start it, turn it right back off and it will start perfectly again for a few more weeks until it happens again! i hooked up a code sniffer but no dtc codes were found. i took it to the local dealer and they reflashed my ecm but dosnt look like that changed anything!
any help would sure be nice!!! thanks

I had a similar intermittent problem with my 06. when it finally quit starting altogether, I traced the problem to a broken clutch interlock switch. The switch is located on the clutch pedal. These trucks require the clutch to be depressed in order to start. For 06 it is a dealer only part. If they have to order it, or if you get stuck when it gives out completely, you can bypass the switch. You can twist the two wires together (truck would be able to start in gear) or just add a toggle switch.
