Just had my SBC installed 5 days ago and havent had a problem till last night, shut the truck down then it wouldnt start. Sees like the clutch safety switch too me. I wiggled wires and pumped the clutch and it started last night, but today same thing, but this time pumping and wiggling doesnt work.

Where is the clutch safety switch?? I looked by the pedal and saw nothing, so is it down on the tranny??

The answer is obvious, Your Dodge rejected the Small Block Chevy (SBC).

Not to take away from your problems, just thought a little humor would help!

 

check with your dealer there is a TSB (or something like that) on it. It happened to mine. Just a wire that came unpluged.

 

got it fixed, i just cut the wires and joined them together.

As for the SBC, i knew something sounded different, and the engine bay looks empty now too....LOL
