My son an i were on our way home an the truck would not shift it was as if the converter was slipping . Then we increased the rpm an trk came up to 55 mph then nothing we stopped you don,t feel it bump into gear in any gear .
Popped the hood the fluid is way up on the stick like one might find if the trk had been sitting for a day or so. The fluid wasn,t overly hot . I,m thinking
maybe the pump has failed what say you ?

Could also be the trans filter o-ring. I'd clean the tranny and remove the oilpan and go from there.

We had it rollbacked too Dodge Dlr. There trans man was off today
but when we started it today it would move itself but there was a
fine racheting sound from the trans.
If you held the brake an raised the rpm it would try to pull then lose
out and go to nothing , then it would gradually come back . But it would never just bump into gear an pull .

Little up date transmission was definately out of commision . The total cause not sure yet . The main thing with an issue seems to be the front drum they can,t get it apart . The clutch pack in trans houseing shows some signs of heat
but but all clutch material still in tact . The front band worn pretty bad an the drum shows wear since most of the friction material is gone from the band . Overdrive clutches look look good worn some but no failure . Too me its as if the front
band friction material went away an from it not working right it stressed everything else . Does that drum not stop or slow while the other clutches engauge ? An if its not working right it over works everything especially those clutches in that drum . Anyway the third party warranty people are trying to figure out what they are going to do . The dealer wants to install a new unit . This third party i,m talking about is the exstended warranty he was sold when he purchased the truck new .

I'd bite the bullet and call DTT or another builder. I had a FULL DTT in my 93 and it rocked.
