04.5 Antifreeze Petcock broken, leaking
One of my friends can't get his 04.5 cummins drain plug on the radiator to close up properly. He turns it clockwise, he hears a click. And the process starts over.
I haven't seen it, or dealt with it, just over the phone. i'm not sure what to suggest.
Are there threads on that sucker? O-ring lost? Did it break from over torque?
Can you pull it out and replace it with a new one?

i saw this last night and no-one has replied..
if its the same as my 99. and 2001 it will come out .. i did replace one once on the 99.. i wouldnt trust it unless you ask a raditor shop.. i just did mine and it worked. i had a radiator shop 3 doors down from my shop!! so if it failed no problem.. now if i can get the 2001 to drain.. its striped and just turns and wont drain
good luck keep me posted

If his is any thing like the one on my 98 Dakota. You can remove it and change out the O ring and it will cure the leak. I lubed it with some silicone grease then put it back in. I got the O ring from misc. assortment that I bought at a parts store.
