04 2500 running rough

I have a 04 2500... Two years ago i had to have the engine rebuilt due to a injector failing and dodge said it was gas, long story short that was two years ago

Today I start my truck for the first time in 3 days and it started fine and then started idling really rough. The truck was almost out of fuel so I added around d 15 gals fuel and had a bottle of injector cleaner. I drove it down the street and it ran fine but when it would idle it ran poorly. Also a bit of white smoke coming of the exhaust

I have shut down the truck and parked it I am worried about it havening the same problem again....

How long does it take for injector cleaner to work?

AND what could be wrong with this truck?

Thanks for the help
NIck

sounds like a drippin injector you have to put a lot of cleaner to getr it to work. you could fill the filter canister with it to get it there faster. if it doesnt clean them then you will need some injector work

Thanks... I just get really nervous about this truck after having messed up the engine once, is there a brand of injector cleaners that anyone recommends?

Seafoam or Howes Meaner Kleener. I would make sure the oil level isn't climbing. If it is, it's too late and you need to have the injectors looked at.

So added more cleaner and ran the truck... anything above an Idle it runs with little to no smoke and it is smooth like normal but at an idle it is still a little rough and blows some white smoke.

Do I just need to drive it more?

Sorry to ask all of these questions just kinda worried about the truck.
