Question 03 temp light tranny 48re

please help out of ideas, temp light comes on at different times.sometimes right after i start up or 20minutes later the light blinks then goes right out. the tranny shifts fine no slipping or clunking. is there any temp switch or thermostate that might be bad .fluid smells fine.

The thermistor is part of the governor pressure sensor assembly and is immersed in transmission fluid at all times. Its in the pan.
