Exclamation 01' 24vlv won't Start

Hopefully someone can help me with this. My buddy drove me to the airport in my truck. I've been outta state for a while on business. Well my dad needed to use the truck, and now my friend is telling me it won't start. It has been sitting for about 3 weeks. Any suggestions?

I am no pro but I would try priming it first off. There is a Pump on the filter housing.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge installed?

factory lift pump? any codes? Try priming it first or crack 3 injector lines and crank until you get fuel going.

On an 01 there is a plastic lever on side of filter housing that you turn sideways and let the electric pump flow fuel through. There should also be a schrader valve on side of injection pump. Have someone hold in valve and bump key until electric pump pumps. It should run for about 10 seconds. Close plastic lever. Than crack open 1 and 3 injector lines on top of head and spin engine over until there is fuel coming out of pipes.
