Yes or NO

I am thinking about buying a 06 tomorrow but I have no reason to. My truck is in good shape and running perfect. I can afford the new truck and just thought I was ready to get myself into a new truck. So what would yall do keep the truck you have or buy a new one?

Keep the one ya got If there is nothing wrong with it. If you go and buy a new one yes there is a warranty but as soon as you get it you will probably want to put a little more HP and that voids the warranty.Just my thought ,hope it helps .Cin

Call your insurance company and your local vehicle tax office to see how much the new vehicle will change your costs.

Keep the old one.

I'd keep the good running 2nd gen but thats because I'm a fan of the 2nd gen body style. But do what ever will make you happy.

I voted yes but it is really a tough call. A new truck gives you some piece of mind with a warranty. You get to start with a new truck with new options and creature comforts you current truck doesn't have etc.

BUT....... It is still hard to get rid of a truck you know is good and reliable. I traded a perfectly good 98 Ram for my 06 Mega Cab but the 98 was a gasser and I was finally in a position to upgrade to the truck I have been wanting ( a Cummins) for a very long time.

You bought the truck becuase it has a reliable CTD. Why sell it if it's running good?

Drive it till it drops!

Don't get sucked in by Madison Ave. marketing.

Take the extra money and buy twins, Mach 6's, and a built tranny.

Too many changes on the new stuff, keep the proven 2nd genner and be happy all the way to the bank. Add a few mods if you really feel you need to spend money. Take care.

Another case of premature truck purchasing

Nice looking but you'll find that the second gens are much more comfortable and more bomber friendly to boot!!

If I had to do it over I'd find a second gen and bomb it!!
