Will 12v 5.9 cummins fit in H1 hummer?

Does anyone know if a 12v 5.9 cummins motor will fit into an H1 hummer? I was thinking that the cummins motor teamed with the H1 hummer frame and chassis would be the ultimate off-road, hunting, towing, all-in-one vehicle. I'm not sure if its a matter of welding a couple motor mounts and doing some fab work for motor, transfer case and tranny or if there is something that makes it nearly impossible to do. I think I've seen videos of a 4 cylinder cummins in a H1 truck frame that got around pretty good, but if the 5.9 would fit, that would be the best case scenario.

thanks

It will fit. I have no idea how much work it would take!

I saw one for sale on e-bay a while back - that's how I know it is possible.

If there's a will, there's a way. (Deep pockets helps too!) I did see a guy on TDR put a 24v 5.9 into a hummer. I believe it had custom radiator, intercooler, yada yada.

You can fit a 4bt Cummins in there. That would be pretty cool.
