If I could find my old 2000 quad cab diesel that I had I would buy it no matter what condition it is currently in. I don't regret get a new truck, but I should have kept that one instead of trading it in.

The '64 Chevy Short Bed bumpside that was my first truck at 17.

It had a 250 6cyl that you couldn't kill with RPMs as the lifters would pump out. And it had a three on the tree. It pulled our 18' Power Cat just peachy but didn't stop it too good! It took a bunch of my Church School friends and I to a camp out in the Conroe Area.

It wasn't very rusty at all either.

One other that had I known then what I know now was a '72 F150 Long bed fleet side with a HUNGRY 360 and awful brakes! I'd have that baby doing MUCH better now.

I miss my crewcab I just sold to a very Kool guy from on here I had the truck for over 18 yrs started life as a 2wheel drive airforce truck I bought it from Nellis AFB Nev in 1989 had to add a steering box to towbar it back home Heck my kids even grew up in it had a 360 with a 727 auto trans
I converted it to 4x4 in 2001 drove it all over the place great truck then I came across a sweet deal to pick/up a 440 motor n trans along with rad. and a few other goodies .then I got the bright Idea I wanted to swap the body from a crewcab my dad had it was white alot better lookin then the air force blue body that was on it then .while I had body off I painted the frame lifted it up some added a corp 14 bolt rearend put bigger tires off of a hummvee37 in tall goodyears drove it like that for 2 more yr's then a buddy talked me into swappin a cummin's into it did all the work myself from start to finish truck would flat out haul butt down road for the swap I used a 93 ctd for parts so everthing foward of the dash was 93 Looked factory everything bolted up into place .Then On Jan of 07 myself and my wife were driving back from Carson city Nv across hwy 88 we were 3 miles from clear road when going around the corner at 20 mph in second gear we hit a soild patch of 2in or better Ice ended up rolling truck lucky we both crawled out unhurt other then scratches and brusies .Tow company tryed to talk me out of truck but I said no way I built it to what it was I will rebuild it again .after a couple weeks of recovery I found a crewcab dually forsale and bought it told the guy right upfront It was going to be a donor for my truck he smiled and said your doing what I wanted to do put a cummin's in it needless to say it took us less then a month to completely rebuild truck body wise no frame damage just crushed body .at the same time I lifted it higher and put 39 in tall michellin's on it 325-85R16's really turned out to be a nicer truck even then before but my health was getting worse {over 30 surgeries on knee's } and climbing in and out of truck required me to have number 8 surgery on right knee .so after thinking about it more and more I felt it was best to sell it and buy a new one so we did .guy I sold it to has 3 kids to raise so it now has a new family to enjoy it .But to say i miss it is a understatement Jess if you read this I hope you have Many happy years with it her name is Bertha butt cause shes one Long truck

I miss my flame red 03 Ram 2500 CTD QC LWB 6 speed 4x4. I loved that truck. It was the first vehicle I ever bought new. I got married, bought a house, and it made sense to lose the payment. In hindsight, I would have rather worked more. I'll get another in a couple years.

Had a 1973 Ford F350 Camper Special. My uncle bought it new in 73, sold it to his son in 79 and I bought it around 87. The 73-79 F350's had the rear axle located to the rear and had the spare mounted in the passenger side of the bed. It still had the original bias ply spare.

From time to time I miss the 03 Silverado SS I traded to my first 05 Dodge w/Cummins but is rare as it was thirsty and needed premium but the AWD launches were something else.

I gave away my 1960 ****** to some people who needed something to drive back to their home in Guatamala. I knew it would get them there and be very useful for them to use while farming so I feel good about having done it, but I still miss the truck and I hope they're still using it. As solid as those things are, I'm sure its still running for them.

1984 4x4 3/4 ton RC/LB Chevy ... 350/4 speed gear banger... it was a heap but I beat on that truck and it handled everything.... the carb was junk and the truck sucked gasoline... good think it had dual tanks. Gave it to my younger brother... then my parents put on a new carb and intake for him.... he sold it to someone and it's been gone since.

When my dad bought the truck in 1986, it had a camper shell and the bed was outfitted with homebuilt carpeted benches and intercom between the cab and camper... that lasted for a few weeks.... He drove that truck for several hundred thousand miles and then gave it to me when he bought a brand spanking new 97 Ford F-250 HD with the 460 gasser.

Miss my '94 Ram 1500 5.9. Had it almost 3 years. Barely had any problems, and was fun to drive. I know the guy I sold it to very well, and he absolutely loves it. Says it's the best truck he's ever had. Well over 180K on it now. Original motor and tranny too. I'd love to buy it back someday and add it to the collection. I'll never go back to gas (or 1/2 tons), but I sure do miss that truck!

I used to miss my '98 3/4 GMC big block until I got my Cummins. I had a 1/2 ton 2wd gasser for 5 years in between.

I currently miss my buddy's truck he just sold. It was an '03 1/2 ton 2wd standard cab SB chevy with a bunch of go fast goodies and a procharger. Fast for a pick up and looked cool.

I miss my '82 K-5 Blazer. I knew that thing like the back of my hand. If I still had it I'd swap a 12 valve into it.
