Who misses a truck they sold?

Lately I've been thinking about the last truck I owned. My wife and I decided to trade it off on a truck that we could fit ourselves and a baby in. So we got this 04 quad cab gasser. Don't get me wrong I love the truck, but there's just something about that old 12 valve that makes me tear up a bit. I know I want another one someday, but it's going to be awhile do to me being in college still and the fact that the 04 isn't going to paid off for at least 5 years. So I'm stuck here drooling over the classifieds just dreaming of days past when I could just roll the windows down and go driving just to shift through the gears and hear the sound of that ole engine.

The truck I miss the MOST is a 1933 Dodge Pickup I sold in 1979 to a fellow in Florida. I had just completed a complete frame off restoration - it was a pretty nice job - took me three years. He offered me what was, at the time, an insane amount of money. For what he paid me, in hindsight, I was pretty dumb to do it!
Probably never have such a piece again.

I miss my 93 and 89. I have seen the 89 on the road still, some 6 years later, but it was my first CTD and has a special place in the ol ticker.

OOOHHH YEAH. My '64 Chevy fleetside shortbed 1/2 ton. AND my '72 Chevy K-5 trail rig. Nothing like no top and hearing those 36' military OZ's a hummin'. WELL, besides a singing Cummins that is.

Theres a few I wish I could have kept. I had a 73 Yellow Chevy 4x4 lifted. 406ci SBC. That thing was a beast. And I also wish I still had my 84 S10 Blazer with the 350HP 350ci V8 in it. That thing was scary fast and had a nice rumble to it.

My 86 k10, im 17 now, and bought the truck when i was 15, put a new motor, axles, lift, and a new body on it. was a great truck in the woods, and drove well, but the 75 camaro motor like the gas, so i sold it and bought my 93 1st gen.

I miss my '90 RamCharger. I had a bunch of body work done but the 360 was very tired. I wish that I had invested in a new engine instead of buying the 2001 Quad Cab gasser. Love my '04 CTD now though.

I have no regrets because I have NEVER sold a vehicle.... I am 32years old and still have all 3 vehicles I ever owned:
Jeep,,, even though there are only a couple origional parts left
92 cummins
07 cummins.

I did sell a trailer once... but I still have my M101 and my 24'gooseneck that i replaced it with..

The funny thing is that I have a good friend that has owned roughly 30 different cars in the last 15 years.... He is always talking about this truck and that truck...

I miss my 91.5 bad and all my friends know, they tell me how dumb I was every chance they get, lol. Although, I do have a key for it and last I heard it was only a seven hour drive away.
