who likes the new volvo big guys

On my trip to school we see a lot of trucks and i think the new volvos, with their celica headlights and all, are cool, but not really a drivers truck. I know there are some truckers on the board, whats your opinions

i think they're ugly but looks are subjective... have heard they handle like water balloons on wheels. never driven one so i can't verify this. their new premium long hood truck isn't bad looking, it hasn't been released yet, though.

as far as beauty nothing beats an old long hood pete 359, or a new international 9900i or kenworth w900l

I have ran some of that plastic junk over the years and that is the best description you could ever give one.

I cant address their drive-ability, but just based on looks, .

Im old school and believe you just cant beet the look of the traditional conventional.

I don't drive for a living, but I've always liked the looks of the anteaters like the KW T-600's, IH 9200,9400, Mack CH-613 etc.. Not the T-2000 though, In close quarters you can't beat the manueverability of a CO, The bad part of them is that you are always the first one to the wreck. Just my .03

Kind of gets me that the most powerful diesel on our highways isn't American.
