Greg Houge is the black Dakota Pro-street.
Jeff Garmon built the blue Dakota conversion, but it's a dead Dakota now. Got wrecked pretty bad if I remember correctly.

The Banks Sidewinder was.
They also drove it from Azusa, Ca about 5 minuets from my house towing a trailer with all the support gear to Bonneville Salt Flats, broke the LSR then towed it back home.

irrelevant, you are comparing Banks' 600-700hp street drivable truck to a 1/4 mile monster that is built to make 1500hp or more, and only run a 1/4 mile and back. there is such a LOOOOONG way from mid 12's to mid 8's.

MIchael at HotRodDiesels ran his 95 full bodied extended cab, long wheel based truck 11.77 in the quarter mile, then hooked the truck, with no other modifications to a 35' Avion 5th wheel trailer and hauled it ot Kerrville TX.
Don't think the little Dakota can do that.

inline6power:
If you go over to the "ATS Diesel Performance" website (www.atsdiesel.com)
I am almost 100% sure they have a video on there with the "Dr. Performance"
Dakota making an 8.86 run there at Bandimere Dragway in Denver at "ATS's"
recent "Truckfest Rally" in July.
FWIW,.....Greg Hogue has NOT been able to match his best ever E.T. of 8.7 which he ran at Ennis, Texas about two years ago since installing his new engine. He has made claims to the contrary, but so far his "best" E.T. was about 8.86 which he ran there at Denver.
