It's hard to pick a favorite. I have 4 antique tractors, about a 48 Farmall M, 1938 Oliver 99 unstyled, early 1936 John Deer AR on steel 95%original including the paint and lettering purchased by my grandfather, and a 1919 Case model 10-18. The only reason I voted Deer is because mine has been in the family so long. But I have fun with them all.

My father owned a Massey dealership when I was growing up. We have never really considered anything else but Deere products since.

Well I have to be honest. I voted Deere, but I don't even own one. Thing is though, If I ever had a choice (money wasn't a factor) I would definitly go with Deere. Whether or not they are the best product I'm sure would be debated, but at least I would always know where to go to get parts. I get tired of running around to 3 or 4 dealerships, because my implement company was bought out by some other company, who was bought out by some other company... Any way you get the idea, John Deere has been around forever, and they aren't going anywhere!

Parents bought some peaches and walnuts a few years ago, And I just love getting away from the city and plowing the field, spray, and especially the picking week(s). We have a John Deere, little 4 cylinder, and we just recently bought a Case 5250 with special rear tires that are about 2feet wide monsters. Its got a 5.9L Cummins and needs a little work done till we can actually use it, Transmissions no good.

I would vote for deere just because it is very common, they have parts available almost everywhere you go and its time perfected. BTW, any of you guys tow your tractors, backhoes, etc with your Dodge?

Well I voted for JD as well as I have three of them, as you can see in my signature. I just purchased a Cletrac crawler that needs a bit of a restoratin so will reserve my judgement on that until it is finished but it sure is cute.
