What would DC have to do......

To get you to buy another truck from them? After close to 8% of the folks in my other poll said they wouldn't buy another, I wonder what would it take for DC to "make nice" with ya. Money? Drugs? Written apology? 10 minutes with the head of warranty claims and a bull whip? Clue us in. The guys that voted "yes for the Cummins, but not for the Dodge" can chip in here also.

My personal list here:

1. New sticks for my truck, so it doesn't smoke like it's lightly bombed.
2. Forfeiture of all salary for every individual in Warranty Claims.
3. The public Drawing and Quartering of the CEO of DC for thinking that the place to save money is by screwing the people that bought your product, rather than trying to convince more people to buy your product.

Well those all sound pretty reasonable...

Bumper to bumper, no limitations warranty for 10 years and 150,000 miles. And a lot more understanding of what actually causes problems. Fixing the truck free of charge because you may have gotten "bad fuel" and going after the fuel stations after the repair. Of course if you've put huge injectors, stacked boxes and have twins and you melted a piston or blew your tranny it's still your fault and should be turned away, but they still need to use common sense when figuring out whether or not a mod caused the problem and stop automatically assuming the mod in question did it.

Make things right.
Fix my Injector issues.
Fix my steering issues.
Fix my clunking issues.
Fix my Rear diff issues.
Fix my A/C issues.
And fix the crappy side drivers door that howls in the wind.
I am sure there are a few other things to add but those are the majors.

After all that stop lieing to me and others about what isnt the issue.
Let us know when there is an issue, and have it fixed quickly.

Build them like they used to, all steel and no electronics. And build a tranny that can stand the torque of a BOMBed Cummins!

As long as we re dreamin here, have the design wizards at DC fix the electronics for those of us that have 05 autos with a pacbrake that is compatable with our trucks so there isnt a warrenty issue.

With all the money going into aftermarket parts, I really wish they would offer more options. Why can't they add gauges, a brake controller, or a decent size tire.

I am not really complaining, cause I would buy another.

My self-being I’ve not had any problems to speak of is, I would like to see them add exhaust temp, Trans and fuel pressure gauges to every CTD they make. Also better torque converter and trans fluid from the factory. The reason I say this is I had my filter & fluid changed today with out a band adjustment and they used my synthetic fluid and it shifts much better then it did new and I have 14K on it.

Learn to treat every customer the same. Whether they be 15 or 90. And I want them to actually honor their warranty and admit that the lift pump and injection pump design is a crappy one and to not try and void warranty because I put a wrench in the back seat that wasn't there from the factory.
