It is just going to get worse. That's just the trend, most everyone has global warming and it's causes on their mind. 10 years ago when Dodge, Ford and especially GM diesel pickups were not near as popular and as powerful as they are these days it was much less of an issue. Now they are extremely popular, many, many more are on the road especially since GM has a worthy diesel on the market now, tons of guys (and some gals) want them and most that do want to mod them and some of them just want them to blow smoke. I don't think I can go more than a day or two without seeing another truck on the road that puffs a little smoke or leaves a cloud somewhere. I think the best option we all have at this point is to just suck it up and deal with it, and learn no to do stuff that'll get you in trouble like blowing smoke on roads where there are a lot of other cars around and the risk is higher that a cop will be present to see it. I don't care what you've got done to your truck, it's not rocket science to control your trucks smoke output. I know how to floor it and pour it, but I also know how to make it look cleaner than an emissions truck. I'm not trying to sound like Gale Banks, I'm not trying to bash anyone for their opinion or displeasure on the matter, I'm just trying to be realistic. I'm all for hot rodding these trucks, blowin' some smoke and stuff but this is the best time to save it for the track/backroads.....

Well said guys. I'm an "Earth First....we'll mine the other planets later" type of guy, but doing stupid things in front of the little hybred driving guy/gal is only going to make it harder on us.

Was that a real screen shot? Or did someone photshop that? Shoot I don't care if a president smokes. Back in time you can see presidents smoking in pictures around the public, nowadays you're a bad person if you light up. Now I don't smoke cigarettes, but I do enjoy cigars. Anyway, back to the thread that's a whole other topic.

You can mmurray, but you have to provide equal time!
McCain ain't nothing but a nicer Democrat on most issues.
On Topic: We have a smoking vehicles hotline here too.
I see quite a few soot blowing and LOUD trucks around here! I would not dream of ratting 'em out however!
