I forgot about the clutch on the '96. It doesn't seem to like the amount of fuel that is being converted into torque... I can slip it in 4th and 5th empty, and all the way thru the gears pulling a backhoe. You really have to ease into it. I'm also considering changing to 3.55 gears (it's got 4.10's now), or if I can figure out how to set it up, I've got a Brownlite 3 speed auxilary I'd like to put in it. I could do it if I could hook my transfer case up to electronic controls, like some of the newer ones, then put the 3 speed shifter where the transfer case shifter is now. It's just geared WAY too low for extended highway driving. I thought I needed the 4.10's when I ordered it, but the '99 and '03 both have 3.55's, so I know the '96 would handle them the way I've got it set up now.

Also have a 6 speed I'm thinking about putting in the '99 when I do all the other work to it. Just havn't decided yet.

The 92:

-Cruise control all messed up again
-I think that I need a brake booster-master cylinder
-AC compressor shot
-Peeling paint
-Cracked windshield
-bad wiper blades

The 94

-Needs to be aligned or have a frontend component replaced.
-signal lights don't work. Might be low on blinker fluid......hehe
-paint peeling
-AC doesn't work
-needs wiper blades

At this point, my checking account can live with these minor problems!

My Dodge isn't a diesel, but I'll throw this out there anyway....

Windshield is cracked, and is now really needing to be replaced. The lovely hot part of summer finally came here in Texas last month, and it extended the crack all the across the windshield...in two areas.

Replace passenger side head lights need replacement. I cracked the lense when the truck rolled after putting it in park, in a parking garage. Snap! it went on the lovely metal wiring.

Needs a oil change in about 800 miles, so next week or so.

Passenger side bed needs to have a lovely huge dent pulled out from when my fiancee couldn't see the large concrete post in a small parking lot. (she's only 5')

I think the A/C condenser is leaking, but I need to put stop leak in it so I can find out for sure. I don't want to tear out the dash, if it isn't the condenser. Until then I'll just keep refilling it, which is about every week and a half to two weeks.

Carpet's need to be steamed.

It generally all over needs to be repainted.

Oh and I need to give it bath. Badly.

Doesn't need gas though! (today)
