what is better common rail or vp44
I have found that our CR ('03) returns better mileage than our VP-44. (20 vs 18)
No annual Inj. Pump payment, original at 140,500 miles.
No payments on either vehicle, or anything else I own for that matter.
If you can't pay cash - you can't afford it (my personal motto).

Yeah, ok so I was exagerating about "yearly VP payments," but you get the idea. There is no doubt to me that the CR is much more reliable than the VP44engines. When comparing the two engines, regardless of truck payments or anything else for that matter, the CR is a much better engine.
