Angry Wax On Plastic

Ok...We all know it cant be helped....Whenever you wax these things, you're bound to get wax on the door handles....No matter how careful you are ...Of course Armor-All wipes clean it up quick, but now after the MONSOON rain this week, the Armor-All is gone, and I have this crappy looking white gunk showing...

What can I use to get that crap off of there, and back to black??

I have tried a toothbrush and Spray 9 or Simple Green and worked out all the hazey white slow but sure. Turned out real nice but takes some time.
I found it was slower to come back after such a thorough cleaning.

A little bleach onna rag will remove it...keep the rag away from yer paint.
A little bleach with your carwash soap will remove old wax so you can brighten up the paint with a cleaner type wax...'jes rinse the bleach off real good before you dry off the paint.

The question is whether it will work on dad's truck or more importantly, on Herrin821's truck. We EXPECT it to work on mom's truck.

I don't know if I would use wd-40. its a petroleum product, which will degrade the plastic over time, i would think
