Not true...How can more BTU's of heat be removed from Hot water faster than from cooler water?
Now to give some leeway on this if you are comparing boiling water to hot tap water, it is possible...sort of...The boiling water will evaporate enough volume to the point that it can surpass the cooling speed of the hot tap water. Due to less volume to remove heat from.
