The new Duramaxes definitely, anyways...

 

Ford is not common rail at this point . Hydraulic Unit Electronic Injection (HEUI) I think. High oil pressure is used.

 

the dmax is HPCR, the ford is heui.

so if vw is switching to hpcr, that didn't leave a very long time they were using the EUI in this newest tdi engine...

 

What about the benz CDI isn't that a common rail?
