Found a guy on craigslist for 1st gen parts. Went out to east texas to get them. Asked for an engine plate or something and he starts walking towards this 89 (new body style) chevy. one with the 6.5 holes in the bumper. under the hood-a 92 12v. Appearance of a 6.5l, and the engine of the gods. .

Whats yalls idea of the ultimate sleeper?

 

I think the best sleeper is a '04 Ford f350 with the powerdud badging, but with a 97 12 valve (I heard they were the best mechanical wise, not stepping on any toes here). Take that to a pull, blast all the competition away, have ferd guys talk up your truck UNTIL you make them look under the hood.

what if it was a "sleeper" truck with like a big-rig typer "sleeper" cab on the back?????

i think that would be the ULTIMATE sleeper!!!!! lol

 

I think the ultimate sleeper would be an unbadged (engine type) beat up 3rd gen, with no visible gauges and the stock exhaust, but is running an exhaust dump, twins, Smarty (+ whatever), and supporting mods.
