Re:Two stroke

I thought the Lawn Boys were good little mowers and hated to see them go. I believe they actually bit the dust about the same time when EPA mandated the stricter emissions on small engines. Timing off it might have been a coincidence.

Greatwhite, you're right the 2 stokers were never banned at Yellowstone - I stand corrected. It was smart businees for the snowmobile manufacturers clean up their act before it did happen. Noise and smoke were always the complaints I heard about the 2 strokes.

Re:Two stroke

Don't remember any Citroen being a 2 stroke, not even the 2 CV. But I could be wrong.

Re:Two stroke

Getting on soapbox.

It is the Blue Water Network that is pressing the Park Service to ban PWC's from Lake Powell, Lake Mead and other western lakes. If you believe that the BWN is against two stroke engines, you are not familiar with their agenda. BWN is against internal combustion engines. They are just starting small. Outboards are next, then four stroke powered boats. Then (probably) they will advocate removing dams. Don't kid yourself, they will be coming soon to a lake near you.

Getting off of soapbox.

Re:Two stroke

Hey Nevada, You gotta problem with that? If the Blue Water Network can't have any fun on the weekend, then why should anyone else. Why if you were to ask them they would tell you they've been hiking on Lake Mead many times. Whatever you do, don't tell them what the fish do in that water.

"You can't handle the truth" (Not you Nevada..Them)
