Two post lifts

Anyone have a opinon on two post lifts?
Symetric or Asymetric? and which brand?

One can buy a 10K lift for about 2-3 K.

Don't know, but if I had the height I would buy one. They change everything about working under the vehicle.

Two post lifts

Sorry I did not mean to be criptic.

Yes I am talking about two post truck lifts like these:
http://www.superlifts.com/html/lifts...-12-15.htm#S12
or these
http://www.bendpak.com/product_info.isg?products_id=749

Thanks for the link to the other thread.

So its sounds like a vote for rotary.
I think rotary are about the most expesnive.

You can get a bend pack or superlifters for about $2500.
That's a 10K model.

Anyone try out these other brands?

The Symetric looks safer buts its probably not. Diesel trucks are very front heavy.

I prefer the lifts that are open on the top. (saw a truck smacked badly by the crossbeam on another lift)The clear floor might be good for slammed cars but you can still lift the floor around the lift a bit to have a flat drive between the pillars. I'd opt for asymmetric with length and heigth adjustable supports. I love to have these little storage bins attached to th lift arms- grreat for putting the lugnuts in when doing a tire change.
