Before i got my dodge i had an 03 6.0 with 4" straight pipe and it sounded exactly like that! It never got old cause its really not that loud inside the truck just like if anything only when the windows are down. Everyone says it sounded like a jet plane and draws a whole lot of attention and its funny when your next to people with the windows down cause almost all of them that i drove by rolled up the windows. This is the one reason why i miss that 6.0 just cause of that sound but the engine SUCKED!!

Personally, I love to hear the engine along with the turbo. This truck, you either hear the engine (which sounds pretty bad) or just the turbo (which doesn't sound all that great either). How can you improve the sound of a throaty cummins???

Sounds similar to my truck without the silencer ring, and the cardboard removed. (I have a Scotty Air II)

My B-1 breathing thru the AFE Stage 2 can get pretty darn annoying at highways speeds with the cruise set. Between 6-11 psi, and that thing is always whistling like mad. Hasn't been warm enough to drive around with the windows down yet, I can just imagine how loud it will be then. I will have to make a vid of it this weekend.

I know the 6.0 had problems with the head gasket failing and leaking coolant in to the oil.

I think if that video was a cummins and whistled like that you guys would want one tomorrow. I'm not a fan of the 6.0 but it sounds good. It is white noise after awhile. Drove a 6.0 thousands of miles you don't even notice after awhile.

Yea it whistled but did anyone else notice he wasnt pulling away from anyone, or speeding off into the distance. Wooohooo I got a little turbo with hardly any boost and no pull watch me go no where.

Exactly what I was thinking. When mine starts to whistle I'm actually gettin' somthin' done. No time to be holding onto a video camera that's for sure.

Running an hx35 through a custom 2.5" crossover fed by a bhaf my truck spools instantly and in 3rd drowns out passengers... I still dont think its as loud as a PS and Im cranking 40lbs. Its good for those annoying passengers who wont shut up though .
