you can hear the turbo scream louder. doesn't make much difference w/ a stock un-modified air box, but with a BHAF or aftermarket filter box setup, it'll scream like an 18 wheeler!

Also, you can use this as a fuel saving device, by listening to the whistle you have an idea what kind of boost you are producing without gauges. Consiquently, this whistle also has and adverse effect on the right foot, I think it likes it.

Yeah… my fuel mileage has suffered for sure since I removed it. I love to hear it spool up.

The first time my wife heard it she just looked at me and said “your are such a loser” I just had to smile. She just doesn’t get it.

with a BHAF the turbo screams pretty good even at 0psi while cruising down the highway!

oh, and Britt? I'm going to see my girlfriend this weekend for the first time since I put the new stacks on... I can't wait to see her eyes do a complete 360 in the back of her head.

WOW I didn't know my wife had an identical twin out there Mine said the same thing

I had mine out fo about a year or so and then put it back in. There was no advantage to it other than to hear the turbo spool.

LOL when I installed my 4 inch exhaust, custom intake with the AFE, and had my pump reworked I took my girlfriend for a ride and she said " I think your truck is gonna blow up" hahaha
The turbo sounds like it's in the glove box. ;0)

Well, I must be an idiot, what tool do you guys use to get that C-Ring out? I tried forever with all kinds of different flat head screwdrivers and had no luck.

Any suggestions?

I used a thin bladed screwdriver to get under the clip and then grabbed it with needle nose and then walked the screwdriver around until it popped out. Be careful not to slip and hit the turbo blades.

I used a small curved pick to get under it and a flat bladed screwdriver to get it out. FWIW My Girlfriend acts the same way, I think she may have caught me telling it good-night once tho..

i used an eyeglass screwdriver to get under it, and the needle nose to grab it. I had it out in 5 minutes.....keep trying, you`ll get it.
