This has been a very hard task kind of like buying a house, It never fails as soon as I see an ad on auto trader I call and its gone or someone put a deposit on it. This sucks the economy can not be bad for the ctd buyer.

 

Where are you located? Are you calling the same day the ad comes out? I'd think it's a good time to buy right now...

 

I live in Springfield Ohio and you are right if I dont call the same day the ad comes out, Im out of luck.

 

What are you looking for? I found mine when Cummins were impossible to buy, and it had been for sale for a while.

Well Im looking for a nice 12v I would love to have a 98 12v short bed ext cab. I will also settle for just about anything as long as its automatic, and extended cab or bigger no regular cabs.

 

I feel your pain. I searched forever looking for a late 5.9 that wasn't abused, always the same reply, "sold it yesterday." I was beginning to think it was a conspiracy. Finally gave up and went to look at leftover 08's. Same deal, although there were several that the dealers must have liked more than I did since they didn't want to deal on them. My wife finally got tired of dealing with me after missing yet another one and told me to go get a new one. I think I'll keep her for a while, the truck and my wife!
