Truck prices in canada?

I was thinking on a new truck but the Dealers dont seem to reduce the prices much on a truck here like they used too a few years back.

A loaded truck lists for around 54000 here and can only seem to get them down to about 51000 or so.

I was wondering what some of you guys have been paying for your new trucks and if you found out was the cost on the truck was to the dealer.

Thanks

Jason

loaded deisel listing for 54,000 ...where

last one I "built" on dodges sight after all the options was 66,000 (3500, dually,q-cab,4x4)

it cost 47,000 just to "build" a bottom line one with A/C/T like mine(2500/qcab/4x4)

anyhow I digress .................. most I've seen go around here were pretty close to window sticker price like you stated

actually my local dealer seems to bring in so few that most are spoken for before they hit the lot

You guys might want to try pricing one out in Alberta......I believe they are somewhat cheaper than they are out East...it may be worth a plane ticket out if you are saving thousands.....

I can give you the names of some dealers if you want.....

i bought mine in BC on the island and if i had bought one in Ont it would have cost the same. i paid 41,000 for mine, list was 43,000, they dont have much leeway on these any more. honestly though i figured out how much i wanted to pay for the truck i wanted, and then bought it. if you want to save $5000 on buying a truck then buy a used one. honetly guys we are nickle and diming our dealers and thats driving prices up. maybe he will throw in a couple of floor mats for free.
you wouldnt accept it if your boss said well this year i am going to pay you $4000 less then last year. think everyone has to feed their families, including the stealers. my two cents worth and its not even worth 2 cents.........

I don't know where you are located, but from what I have heard, the best prices on Dodges around are at the dealers in Arthur, Listowel, and Orangeville. I can't remember their names right now.
Try them.

I see a lot of trucks from Arthur around so I will have a look there.

66 000 for a dodge pick up??? It must have come with one of those blonde units in the front passenger seat that you hear about in California ..

I guess the mark up isnt there anymore but my god its just a truck for god sakes!!

Now I know why so many ppl drive there vehicles into the ground...

What rear end ratio did you get.

My order for a 3500, dually, HD, CTD, lsd, 2004.5 only allowed a 4.1 rear end when I wanted a 3.73..??

Cheers frank

What a pain that is! I guess that DC still doesn't trust its new auto.

Where did you order the truck, Frank?

It sounds to me like the western dealers are a little more willing to deal. Bought both Wildcat trucks for invoice + $500. Scotty's full load 04 quad cab 3500 was around $48,000 (before taxes).
