hello i'm thinking of buying a 99 dodge ctd 4x4 auto with about 140k on it it is and extended cab long bed just what i want and is verrrry clean inside and out the asking price is 14k. i'm concerned about the 53 block issue and was wondering if there is a way to check using the vin which i have 1B7KF2363XJ550381 the truck is just a little far away for me to go look at right now. i'm also wondering about the auto trannies in these and what i can expect for life out of a slightly modified truck. i tow about 7k when i go 4wheelin. my real dream is a standard but i don't know how those fair either. i've also read about the injection pumps failing, the one in the truck was replaced recently is this something i should worry about.
