Most of the time I drive it normal, I blend in with the rest of the traffic on the road but there are some days when that "go-peddal bug" bites me and I hot rod it around town. I try to blend in a little bit but with that 4 inch straight pipe its a little hard to.

i did more than my share of driving on the edge in my past. i just cruise with traffic now and get p.o. at the last minute jammers that cut in front of me when there is only one car length of room anyways. tick me off and i will still run you over.

I finally saw you and your truck rollin through town the other day... Nice rig! You must have been in a mello mood because you were pokin around pretty slow... 
I am pretty mixed but lately I am taking it easy... I need tires soon and my wife likes to remind my every time she hears a chirp... Tell you what's fun is waiting for a little rain and slipping it into 4wd at an intersection and getting someone to race you off the line... They will just about spin it around trying to get a grip while you sail away in a cloud of smoke

I mostly blend in. I try to avoid smoke, as *I* don't want to be the person that contributs to the redneck image associated with diesel performance. I want people to feel inferior for not having a diesel, not superior to that "darn redneck with his truck." That said, there's no denying my redneck roots, so I just go with it

When im in town i usually try to drive pretty good. Try to keep the smoke to a minimum, and when im drivin on the highway i try my best not to smoke out the car behind me, unless theyre tailgatin, then i'll send them a smoke signal On back roads i usually just let it eat as long as there aint some body behind me.

Being in Houston TX with Arizona tags, drive real cool. Don't want to be the attention grabber. Houston is known for its speed traps. A Davey rule, "Never set the pace in the fast lane with out of state tags

whenever the roads clear I get on it. I hate people that swerve all in traffic, I usually blow a cloud of smoke in there window when I pass them. I've had to many speeding tickets to really be reckless anymore...

I like to get into mine, it throws you back into the seat to about 92 mph. It's funny horsing around with the little rice burners and coming screaming past em when they are giving it all they have. I drive 450 hp daily, but it's a C15 Cat in a semi, so yea. I like the feeling of acceleration out of the 97 for sure. The 01 hasn't gone 20 miles since I got that one home, put 800 miles on the 97 AFTER getting back from Texas with it.

I tend to drive about normal, not to fast or to slow. I do tow about 5k most of the time. I have a tendency to mash it on on ramps without the trailer though. I give free merging lessons

I shift before 2000 when water temps are 140 or below. Below 26-2700 until the thermastat opens then 95% grandpa and 5% Evil kinevil. I love to get the truck sideways, but there's rarely enough road. And I don't blow a lot of smoke in traffic except for the occasional tailgater etc.
Around town I'll let rpms drop to idle before I downshift, but otherwise I'll drop a gear in a heartbeat. And I always double clutch when dropping to 4th since my clutch/ tranny combo doesn't like that shift for some reason.
